Syrinia

Legendary Object Hunt

Entering the rift, Syrinia and Draca arrived at a very eerie and unnatural place. Syrinia gazed around at the lava and darkness that shrouded the area they now stood in, and settled Draca as she took a few steps back. She thought it wise to remain on Draca's back for the time-being just incase the need to escape arose.

Then it hit her: Neromon was nowhere in sight. She found Aurus and Danath close beside her, but she could not spot Neromon anywhere. Had they gotten separated during the teleportation? This was not good, not good at all.
Aurus

The first thing Aurus noticed was the heat, he fell to the ground almost immediately, weakened. "Why can't we ever go some place cold!" He growled, taking a few minutes before finally struggling back to his feet, trying to figure out where exactly he was now.

Aurus took a quick look around, his spirit sinking further at the sight of lava. What had he gotten into now?
Syrinia

"Aurus!" Syrinia noticed his fall to the ground as the heat touched his scales, warming them instantly. Immediately she jumped off Draca's back and made her way to him, kneeling down beside his head. "Are you alright? Can you continue on?"
Aurus

Aurus struggled for a minute, "It's much worse here that the desert" he grunted. He closed his eyes for a minute, starting to feel a little feverish before something suddenly clicked. His eye's glowed faintly blue as cool breeze instantly began to blow around him gently, and he felt normal for once. "I'm... fine?" He said confused.
dragonclaw

Danath just looked around, so from something that looks bad to this he just shock his head thinking about how it might have been safer where they where.

He walked over to where Syrinia and Aurus where, "You two ok? I know it might just be thinking this but i think we might have been better off at the other side of the portal."
He then looked around there was just the 3 of them, "Where is he!"
Syrinia

Syrinia was relieved to hear Aurus was feeling better, and then the realization that they were lost in the Underworld entered her mind.

"I think you are right Danath, we might have been better off on the other side of the portal. Where is he?" She stood, narrowing her eyes. "I believe this may have been a trap," she spoke as she grasped Draca's reins.
dragonclaw

With that Danath egnited into his black flames anger taking control of him his claw glowing bright red, "Arr no! Why did i trust him?"

Looking back at Syrinia and then to Aurus he knew anger wouldn't help anything so turning back to his normal from Danath just looked up and shock his head, "No i don't like this, well what should we do, stay or not i think we are in the same boat."
Guest

Zayrel paused suddenly as a thundercrack sounded, somewhere nearby. Her ears tilted upwards, alert, as she tried to locate the source of the sound. It was hard to see anything on this firey, miserable plane; clouds of noxious gasses from lava flows blocked out sight past even forty or so feet.

She looked upwards at the muted, eerie glow of the "sky", so familiar after so many months, providing barely enough light to see the tip of her snout, and tilted her head sideways, this way and that, careful to listen for any sound besides the evil bubble of molten rock and deadly gasses... surely that could not be what she thought it was... could it?
Aurus

Aurus didn't like what he was hearing. "God, this place is hot" he said growling, "I think we need to stop taking portals to places."

He looked around, his eyes still glowing slightly as his powers not only kept him cool, but a good amount of the air around him as his extra energy was channeled to the ability. "Perhaps we should look around, maybe we can figure something out."
dragonclaw

Danath looked up at Aurus and called back "A bad something or Good something"

With that Danath jumped up and joined him to see if he could make anything out himself.
Syrinia

Mounting her horse, Syrinia took the reins in both hands as she lifted her head to look up at Danath and Aurus above her. It would probably be a good idea to start making their way through the Underworld in search of a way out, but Aurus had spotted something. What could it have been?

"What do you see?" Syrinia asked from the ground, keeping Draca steady as she neighed loudly at the lava that surrounded her.
dragonclaw

Danath looked out seeing something but couldn't make out what it was but he didn't feel like finding out.
"It's something but i think it's in our best interest to keep away, there’s things down here that are far to dangerous to even get sensed by," Danath shouted back, “I’ll go along with whatever you two thinks best ok but i think it might be better to stay away whatever it is."
Syrinia

"Perhaps we should try to find a way out of this place instead of looking for trouble," Syrinia shouted up at them. "Do you see any paths that may carry us back out into Aeldra?"
Aurus

Aurus sighed, "I can't really see anything up here, it's probably just a rock" He flew back down near Syrinia. "Perhaps we should just pick a direction?" he suggested, "My gut feeling tends to choose well. Either way, I don't think staying here is going to do anything."
Syrinia

"Yes," Syrinia nodded, "staying here would probably not be the wisest thing to do." She gazed around at the surrounding lava pits, demons, and imps. "Which way do you believe we should walk in? Perhaps we shall find Neromon after a few steps, he might not be on our side though. Either way, I am ready for whatever lies ahead for us."
dragonclaw

"Or when we get out of this place, i wouldn't put it passed him just leavinf us down here," Danath growled then looked around,"Well theres got to be away out we just have to go looking i guess."

He walked to the side of Draca and sighed "Well Aurus have you got a 'gut feeling' on where to go because i trust that more then my sence of direction down here."
Aurus

Aurus closes his eyes a moment. He lets out a deep breath, and unbeknown to him he faintly glows. He suddenly opens his eyes, pointing in a direction. "I think we should go that way" He couldn't see anything in that direction, but it's not like they knew where they were anyways.
Syrinia

Syrinia watched as Aurus concentrated and found it quite intriguing when he suddenly knew which direction to go in. She decided it would be best to follow his instincts seeing as they really didn't know in what area of the Underworld they were in, and any way would be nice as long as it would be out of this mess of imps and demons.

"Alright," she nudged her reins slightly as Draca began her gait towards the direction Aurus had pointed in, "let us be on our way."
dragonclaw

Danath nodes,"Yes lets, less time here the better."

With that Danath walked up to Syrinia and look around again,"No i don't like this place one bit."
Aurus

Aurus walks along side of Syrinia, he was starting to feel a little dizzy from the heat, something he couldn't avoid no matter how well he could cool himself. "I hate this place more, too much heat" Aurus grumbles, "Lets hope we come across something soon." He was worried that his powers would fail if he stayed in this place too long.
Syrinia

Syrinia found that the heat didn't really affect her as much, and then she recalled her father was a demon. Of course! Her being half-demon caused her not to be effected by high temperatures, although when not in her demonic form fire could easily harm her. She thought her powers were a bit confusing even to herself, and decided to instead focus on the path before her.

"Yes, but let us hope this 'something' that we come across is something good," Syrinia added.
dragonclaw

Danath just laughed not meaning it to be so loud,"Sorry but i think it's very slim that anything down here will be good, i have seen things that have come from down here and heard aswell."

How Danath wished that he could forget that part of his being but saying that this place had made him what he was even if it was indirectly.

With that Danath started to feel uneasy he didn't know why but he was picking up something, "Why do i get the feeling theres something watching us?"
Aurus

(Garg it is then Wink)

Aurus looked around, seeing nothing. But he heard a faint growl, it sounded big, whatever it was. He was getting a bad feeling about this.

He felt a faint rumble, then a roar. He flipped around, seeing what appeared to be a giant boulder running straight at them. "Look out!" He yells, even though he was pretty sure everyone had seen it. Whatever it was it didn't look happy to see them.

------------------------------------

The garg roars and charges at his prey with unprovoked rage. Heading for the strongest looking target first, the larger dragon. He swings a massive claw at the creature with full force.
dragonclaw

Danath swung around just as the creature was charging at him claws lunging at him, with out a second thought Danath jumped out of the creatures path and turned to face it.

"Whats this thing!!!" Danath roared but with that got the Creatures attention again,"Arrr crap!!!"

Danath's body engulfed it's self slowly inflame his claw glowing bright around his neck ready for the next attack, Danath shouting "You two keep out of the way, if i get hit i'll stand more chance ok."
Syrinia

Draca reared at the sound of the creature's fearsome roar, Syrinia tightening her hands on the reins as she held on, pulling back and out of the charging creature's way. Regaining her composure, Syrinia turned her head to find the creature where the three of them had been just a few minutes ago, finding it resembled a large boulder with arms and legs. She had never seen anything like this before, and definetely not fought anything similar to it. What was this thing?

Immediately Syrinia pulled her sword out, ready to attack if the creature charged at either one of them. She didn't think her sword would cause much damage to a creature made of stone, but she was willing to attempt an attack, especially if it would capture the creature's attention and keep her friends out of harm's way.

"I am not leaving you to fight this thing on your own, Danath, I shall stand by you in battle!" Syrinia replied, narrowing her eyes at the fearsome beast before her.
Aurus

(I just realized, i attacked us with something I am not effective against at all X_X)

Aurus jumps out of the way, he examined the creature closely, seeing no way he could actually hurt it. But he stands watching carefully for any way to help.

----

The beast flips around at Danath as he dodges shooting a jet of fire out of its claws as it closes the distance to another swipe at Danath's mid region, not even worried the sightest about the flames.
dragonclaw

Danath just kept dodging, how could he defeat a creature that seemed to be made out of rock, the only advantage Danath could see was his speed.

The creature came at Danath again and he took the chance rushing around the creature's side to it's back. Jumping up in the air he brought up his back legs and kicked as hard as he could. But the creature was as heavy as it looked Danaths kick just sent him flying to the floor in a heap.

"How the hec i'm i supposed to fight this thing it's a rock !!!!!" Danath roared out, his flames getting bigger.
Syrinia

Syrinia dodged the large creature as it approached her as well, keeping Draca steady and holding onto her reins tightly; this would not be the best time to fall off her horse's back.

How could she defeat this thing or even harm it? It was a rock, there was just no way. How can you possibly defeat a rock?

Syrinia slapped on her reins as Draca dashed towards the giant beast, circling it while Syrinia searched for any weakspots that may be present in the creature, but she found nothing.
dragonclaw

Danath's pendent started to glow a bright red now, it was starting to take over him again and he was letting it he knew it might be the only way he could stand up to the attacks the creature through at him. Smile spines grow down his back down to his tail, his musles twisting tight ready to release the power within them, his flames growing in size.

Slightly giggling Danath rased his head and smiled, taken over by the powers surging through his body from within him and the pendent, "Ok then lets see how this thing puts up with some really force!"

Running up behind the beast Danath jumped again but this time grabbed onto the creature back digging his claws into the rock like flesh and biting around its sholders fire erupting from his month as he did. The creature just flailed around trying to reach Danath but because of it's size he couldn't reach him.

"Come on!" Danath roared,"Whats going to bring you down."
But with that Danath lost his footing and fell flat on the floor again, the creature right over the top, looking down at him.
"OOOOO CRAP !!!!!" Danath moaned and rolled his eyes.
Syrinia

Noticing the creature who was now towering over Danath ready to attack at any given moment, Syrinia threw her sai daggers straight at the creature, hitting it, but not causing much more damage than just a small scratch which was barely visible. Syrinia caught the sais in her hands as they came flying back at her, satisfied at having gotten the beast's attention and giving Danath some time to recover from the fall.
Aurus

The beast growled as the daggers hit it, hesitating for a moment before slamming a claw down towards the fallen Danath's stomach with a loud roar.

----------

Aurus watched on with horror. He... had to do something! He started to run towards the beast with an angry growl. He'd help somehow, even if the creature only took a moment to swat him aside.
dragonclaw

Seeing his chance Danath got back onto his feet and faces there creature again, it had to have a weak point somewhere on it but where. The elemant he had most control of wouldn't effect this creature, well it was rock and attacked with fire as well. Danath then had an idea might not work but it was the only thing he could think of.

"Ok you two keep it busy i long run up for this," Danath said to the two others and ran back away from the creature a few hundred feet.
Syrinia

"Keep it busy? This should be amusing." Syrinia smirked, slapping on her reins as Draca dashed towards the creature. Syrinia pulled out her sword, slashing once at the creature's face and then sliding her sword around it as she circled the beast, causing a loud squeak as metal slid against rock. Once she pulled her sword away the large creature had a thin, white line around it.
Aurus

The monster roared angrily, spinning to counterattack at Syrinia with flame shooting claw. Aurus took this opportunity to jump onto the creatures face, blocking its vision as it tried to get the blue dragon off, eventually getting smacked off him by one of its powerful claws and getting slammed into the ground, ice causing him to slide away.
The monster roared again, charging its two closer attackers this time, flames spewing.
Syrinia

"Hiya!" Syrinia slapped on her reins as Draca quickly evaded the creature's incoming attack. Once having dodged it, Syrinia nudged on her reins slightly, causing Draca to turn facing the creature. She had to come up with a way of defeating this... thing, but how?
dragonclaw

Danath stopped and turned back to the direction he had just came for, a good distance from the creature Danath locked his eyes onto it. With that he ran and then jumped into the air beating his wings faster and fast, flames licking all around his body. Gathering more speed and only a few feet off the ground he took one last aim at the creature.

Just before he was about to impact the creature Danath ducked his head ready for the sudden impact that he knew was going to come.

BANG!!! The creature goes flying backwards as Danath flys into it then rolls away from it as he hits the floor. Not knowing what he was thinking Danath lay on the ground a pain running through his body from the impact, but he still didn't know if it had worked.
Aurus

The creature is knocked onto its back by the blow, the heavy blow knocking it over. The blow barely phased it besides knocking it over. Fortunately the creatures impact with the ground created a small ditch, making it difficult for it to stand back up.

Aurus quickly ran over to Danath. "You alright?" he asked as soon as he was close enough to be heard. Looking over at the beast having difficulty getting up, he used this time to cycle through their options. "Maybe we should use this chance to flee" He suggested.
Syrinia

"I do not particularly enjoy leaving a battle unfinished, but it seems we have no other choice here," Syrinia spoke as she made her way towards Danath and Aurus on Draca's back. "If we are fleeing we should hurry, I doubt that thing will stay down for long."
dragonclaw

Danath slowly dragged himself to his feet now back in his normal form, blinking a few times to get his focus back he noded, "Yeah i think thats going to be the best plan of action here i just hope theres no more."
Aurus

Aurus, making sure Danath was ok turned and ran in a random direction, he had no plan beyond getting as far away from that thing as possible. He turned back to make sure everyone was following him. And hopefully not the thing they were running from.
Syrinia

"Aurus!" Syrinia slapped on her reins, causing Draca to chase after Aurus. She was afraid he would run into something that would bring even greater problems than the creature they had just fought if he wasn't careful with where he was running to, but it seemed pretty safe for now. Although, was there really a place one could call safe in the Underworld?
dragonclaw

Danath stud there for another second or two before he noticed he was getting left behind and started to run after Syrinia.
" Why can't we find a nice green valley and just run for the joy of it," Danath said to himself still not totally himself.
Aurus

Aurus starts to slow down after about a mile, he was unusually tired all of a sudden. He felt like he was burning up, which is reasonable considering where he was. He stopped, panting a little as the heat started to get to him.
Syrinia

Pulling back on her reins and causing Draca to come to a stop, Syrinia turned to look behind herself and make sure no one was following them, and surprisingly enough the creature had vanished, but Syrinia had learned never to let her guard down, especially not in a place like this.

"Are you alright?" She asked as she noticed Aurus panting.
dragonclaw

Danath court up to the small group and stopped just next to Aurus.

"ooo i'm going to hurt in the morning, feels like i have been sat on by a Mountain,"I said letting out a slight giggles,"Well a baby one anyway, so where now i'm useless down here i don't know which ways what without the sky and land."
Night

Neromon then appeared and said "sorry about that, i had to deal with some business". he had to settle a rebellion in his own hive, some people were trying to over through him. he had managed to convince them to at least wait and give him time to prove he was still a good leader. he then looked at them and asked "did you run into some trouble?"
Syrinia

"As a matter of fact, yes," Syrinia replied, annoyance audible in her voice. She was beginning to lose her patience with Neromon, that is if she even had any patience for him to begin with. Syrinia was not someone that was very patient, only for the ones she cared for greatly, and Neromon was not one of these beings.
dragonclaw

"Trouble..... TROUBLE ooo you're a right one," Danath then bit his tongue before he said anything else wasn't the time and place to get into a fight,"Well now your here from your 'Business!' where the hell do we go we haven't the time to go around in circles!"
Aurus

Aurus continued to pant a little, looking a bit feverish but was quickly recovering. "It's hot down here" he explains, "I need to take it easier" he sighed. He gave Neromon an angry glance, but he didn't want to get all worked up, that could make things worse. Neromon was probably the only way they had out of this place, and Aurus most certainly did not want to be here much longer.
Night

"i won't lie, you have ever right to hate me for showing up late, but know this, i did show up, i didn't leave you here alone like i could have, something tells me you would have never fought your way out of the gate and very rarely does it open, entire armies have tried to destroy it and the gate has not even been scratched." Neromon said then added "i got stuck here once, and if i hadn't i not been able to contact night and have him teach us how to teleport in and out of here then i would have never gotten out, then again there have been several times when he and i had to get one or the other, or both out of trouble, but enough of that history, on word to our task".

Neromon then turned and said "well your were on the right track to say the least" he then walked over a hill and just bellow him where the slop of the hill ended there was the fortress they were seeking, they had most likely already been spotted by the forces inside
Syrinia

Tugging on her reins slightly, Syrinia followed Neromon on Draca over the hill, not paying much attention to what he had said, and instead focusing more on the task at hand. She wanted to do what they had come here for and be done with it, especially since she knew Aurus was greatly weakened now, and they could all be in danger. She didn't really fear for herself much, but more for her friends, and she knew that it would be hard to stop anything down here, not to mention she didn't like the thought of being down here in the first place especially since her demonic powers could start acting up any second if triggered.

She was weaker here, not physically, but spiritually, and her demonic side had a greater advantage over her. She didn't like the thought of this at all, and so did her best to remain calm as she continued to follow Neromon until they reached the fortress. She would not endanger her friends, not again.
