(Weee, a villain i made for an rpg hlmod, but he can work here too!)

Darkness: Has the innate ability to sap all the light from a huge area, making it impossible to see anything. There is absolutely no light in the area until he dispels it.

Darvision: Can see even in pitch black darkness.

Infectious bite: Similar to a werewolf bite, anyone bitten by him will suffer a transformative curse, which will slowly turn that person into a controllable creature like him. The bite is magical in nature and can be dispelled with powerful healing spells.

Poison: His entire body is covered in a powerful poison that will quickly paralyze a person and slowly kill them. It also prevents wounds from healing or clotting. (Will bleed to death if not treated)

Additional Information (If Any): What used to be a powerful wizard specializing in shapeshifting. Driven into a corner by those after his life, he cast a highly unstable spell putting him in his current form and twisting his mind into an instinctual rage. He is slowly building a hive of shadow beasts as he infects more victims.

Control Info
His twisted mind thinks of nothing but expanding his hive, and he will try to bite as many creatures as possible. He is very effective at moving quickly and silently, and will use that to sneak up on victims.

I Just got a idea for a plot : )

We should have him bite signus, and while she is trying to resit the change to the Shadow beast she could turn against us, but after wards we find a spell that can cure her and we have to enter the hive in order to cast it on her.
